Vocal Lessons

My singing lessons are designed to help you get to know your own voice better and develop a healthy, expressive, and authentic way of singing. Each lesson is planned according to the goals, experience, and interests of each student, regardless of their experience level.

I work with repertoires of different musical styles and in various languages, adapting the content to each student's preferences. The basis of the entire process is vocal health: we learn to sing efficiently, respecting the functioning of the voice and developing a solid technique that can be applied to any musical genre.

Throughout the classes, we explore aspects such as breathing, support, tuning, diction, vocal range, interpretation, musicality, and stage presence. More than perfecting technique, my goal is for each person to feel increasingly comfortable with their own voice, gain confidence to sing, and discover new possibilities for artistic expression.

In a welcoming and encouraging environment, I use practical exercises, individualized guidance, and constructive feedback so that each student develops their skills at their own pace. I believe that every voice has potential and that singing is, above all, a form of communication, creativity, and connection with oneself and others.

Brazilian Singing

In my Brazilian Singing class, I invite each student to delve into the richness of Brazilian popular music through vocal practice. We work with a diverse repertoire, including samba, forró, baião, bossa nova, MPB, and many other styles, always exploring the cultural, historical, and musical context of each song.

More than just learning songs, my goal is to share the characteristics that make Brazilian singing so unique. Throughout the classes, we work on interpretation, rhythm, Portuguese pronunciation, vocal expression, musicality, and different ways of singing that are part of Brazil's diverse musical traditions.

The classes are aimed at both foreigners who wish to learn more about Brazilian culture, learn to sing in Portuguese and explore new musical styles, and Brazilians who want to deepen their relationship with their country's music, expand their repertoire and better understand the history and particularities of Brazilian popular singing.

Each lesson is planned according to the goals and interests of each student, creating a welcoming, creative, and inspiring environment. My wish is that each person develops their voice while experiencing the beauty, diversity, and expressiveness of Brazilian music.

Rhythmic

Gramani's Rhythmics class offers a unique and innovative approach to developing rhythmic and musical sensitivity. Based on the pedagogical principles of José Eduardo Gramani, the class seeks to go beyond simply counting beats, encouraging students to experience rhythm as a living and dynamic musical concept.

Through exercises that utilize voice, body percussion, and conducting, the course challenges participants to explore rhythm in its fullness, through the juxtaposition of irregular and regular rhythmic elements. Gramani's books, which are adopted in the main music universities in Brazil, serve as the basis for the course, providing a deep and practical understanding of musical rhythmics.

Gramani Rhythm awakens inner musicality, making learning a rich experience of discovery and personal expression.

This course is ideal for musicians and students who wish to deepen their understanding of rhythm and enhance their ability to express themselves musically in a creative and sensitive way.

Artistic Mentorship

With over 30 years of experience as a musician, singer, teacher, and researcher, I have developed an artistic mentorship program fully tailored to the needs and goals of each artist.

In recent years, artistic mentorship has been one of my main areas of study. I believe that accompanying another artist's creative process is a great responsibility and also a privilege. Often, a good conversation, a fresh perspective, or a question at the right moment can unlock ideas, reorganize projects, and open new paths for creation.

Mentoring is a space for dialogue and reflection, where I offer encouragement, tools, and different perspectives to those who are developing a project, seeking new challenges, or feeling creatively stagnant. It's not just about finding answers, but about building possibilities.

This program is aimed at artists from different fields, such as singers, musicians, composers, actors, performers, and educators. The sessions can cover creative processes, show preparation, recording, composition, career planning, or any other artistic project.

The format is flexible and tailored to your needs, and can take place in weekly meetings or in longer, spaced-out sessions throughout the year.
