Mundaréu was an artistic group deeply rooted in Brazilian popular culture, founded in 1998, of which Daniella da Cunha Gramani was a member as a fiddle player, singer, percussionist and producer until 2009. The group stood out on the national scene for the way it approached traditional Brazilian music, integrating different rhythms and manifestations. With a repertoire that included Bumba Meu Boi, Coco, Ciranda, Fandango Paranaense, among others, Mundaréu performed more than 200 shows in practically every state in Brazil, bringing popular culture to a wide and diverse audience.

Over the years, Mundaréu produced several significant works, including CDs and DVDs that captured the essence of its performances. Among its main productions is the CD Guarnicê: uma simple opereta popular (2000). This album was a milestone for the group, with two of its tracks selected by the Itaú Cultural Institute to represent the state of Paraná in a compilation of Brazilian music released in 2001. The group also released the CDs Embala Eu (2004), Cortejo Natalino (2005), the DVD As Aventuras de uma Viúva Alucinada (2008), and the CD Mundaré (2009).

In addition to recordings, the Mundaréu group was known for its stage performances that integrated music, theater, puppets, dance, and popular culture. With the shows Guarnicê (1999-2002), As Aventuras de uma Viúva Alucinada (2002-2010), Embala Eu (2003-2009), and Cortejo Natalino (2004-2010), the group participated in several festivals, bringing a reinterpretation of Brazilian popular art to the stages and streets of the main capitals, as well as cities in the interior. The group did not intend to rescue or preserve traditions, but rather to showcase the art of the Brazilian people as one of their riches, one of their treasures.

Mundaréu has had the collaboration of several artists throughout its existence, such as Melina Mulazani, Thayana Barbosa and Dayse Santiago, and Itaercio Rocha. The latter stood out as director and responsible for the conception of the shows. His artistic vision was crucial to the creation of performances that captured the essence of Brazilian popular traditions, reinterpreting them in an innovative and engaging way.

Daniella Gramani's work with Mundaréu was fundamental to the artistic development of the group, especially with regard to musical direction and arrangements. Her deep connection with popular culture and her ability to translate this into a contemporary musical language helped solidify Mundaréu as a reference in the Brazilian cultural scene.
